Back in the 70's my father was the Janitor at BUR. We had to clean the employee lunch room. There was a stewerdess that I met when I was about ten. Her name was Marilyn she always had a candy bar for me. My father thinks she may have been on the San Diego flight. If anyone knows I would really appreciate it. I would love to say thank you for the memories.

I worked for PSA at Oakland in the mid-60's. Would anyone know of Lynn Kennnedy? She was a stewardness during that time.

My grandmother Audrey Whitmill passed away yesterday at the age of 86. She worked for PSA in the mid 50's. It was her favorite job. She often spoke of how much fun it was back in those days. Now she's in the clouds flying on mystical DC3's.

Dear PSA crowd, The Museum of Flight in Seattle is putting together an exhibit called Style in the Aisle, opening next spring, which would be incomplete without a PSA uniform. We are looking for, perhaps, a former flight attendant who would like to loan or donate her uniform for this exhibit. I am particularly interested in the late 60s - mid 70s uniforms. We would also love to hear your story and perhaps borrow some pictures to use in the exhibit with your permission. The images in this website are great, but we need originals to scan at adequate resolution for printing. Please contact me if you think you can help (or know of someone else who can). I can send you an outline of the exhibit. Thank you!

For all of you who remember Andy Anderson, I'm sad to tell you of his passing on August 6 2007. My father joined PSA in 1952 as an A&P mechanic back in the early days, and became a Maintenance VP in 1973. He retired in 1982 and has been at most of the old-timers picnics since then. I have good memories and photos of all the employees and their children back then. I have a "PSA Family Day" photo from 1952 that shows me and dozens of other kids climbing all over a DC-3; I wonder where they are now. I got to ride on all of the airplanes from the early DC-3s through the DC-9s with everything in between - Electras, 727 and 737s BAC, and the L-1011! Andy had a good life in the PSA family.

To all of you who remember Peggy Wittmayer, it is with sadness that I tell you of her passing June 20,2006. She was married to my father Dwane Wittmayer who was a long time PSA employee back in the "good ole days". Dad passed away over 12 years ago now. Way back in the early 70's I was married to Tom Graves, also a PSA employee. He transferred fron SAN to be part of the new Fresno station. What a blast that was. I have such fond memories of all the employees and their wives back then. Yesterday, my brothers and I were going through Mom's "stuff". We found many pictures and other PSA memorabilia that we will all cherish forever. I loved being a PSA kid!

As a 10 year old kid back in the old days before security i would hang out at the Burbank Airport after school in operations and got to know alot of crews. Rode the jump seat many times to and from BUR-SFO and SAN. I would fly down to SAN on saturdays and hung out with my friends before returning to BUR. Hard to believe , but I have flown on every tail/fleet number from the 727-100 on up to the Super 80! Both L10s, the DC-9-30s and 72 stretch! Anyway, I have tried to reach after many years some old friends like Tony Classens, Bill Jolly Al Oranski, Fred Langston, Roy Bealharts Mary Washington, Jack Pike, and many others who might have worked either in BUR or SAN during the 70s-80s.... Please feel free to contact me, it would be great to hear from you! Up until recently, I had about every ticket jacket, safety card, the old pink/yellow ticket recepts, schedule going back to the late fiftys, but someone stole them all from my storage unit a year ago! Frends tell me they have shown up on EBAY for sale.... Anyway, I hope to hear from anyone who worked in BUR or SAN at the times I have mentioned!
