Mother Grinningbird
Full Jingle (954 Kb)
Captured from an archive of Dr. Don Rose, KFRC San Francisco from August 9, 1974, this jingle reflects the start of "new" PSA L-1011 service from SFO to LAX. Thanks to Tom Gibson for pointing this one out to the webmaster.

Catch Us!
Full Jingle (1.24 Mb) This jingle, released on November 13, 1976, was the centerpiece of a 5 week blitz "that will reach 98% of all adults in PSA's market area an average of 16 times." Over 300 TV spots, 850 radio spots, and 100 newspaper ads were part of this blitz, and it was to be run (along with other new campaigns) in 1977, according to the jingle cover.
Written by R.L. Phillips, arranged and conducted by T.A. Tartaglia, sung by Shelby Flint.

Our smiles aren't just painted on
Full Jingle (679 Kb) From late 1979/early 1980's new theme - "Our Smiles aren't just painted on." It still has some of the feelings from Catch Us, with the happiness so prevalent in jingles.

Catch our Super Smile
Full Jingle (1.32 Mb) This was PSA's 1981 jingle, reflecting a different time and ad theme. But, it still is filled with PSA's happiness, giving me visions of flight attendants dancing and can-canning on the plane (I wonder who used that imagery, though...)

Catch Our Smile
Full Jingle (1.42 Mb) PSA's 1985 offering repeated the 1981 music, but with different lyrics. Much of the spirit in 1981's offering is gone, replaced by a smooth female's voice.
